News said 1 to 2 inches over night. So far we have about 4 and it doesn't seem like it's letting up any time soon

Yeah but you guys had a little warning. For some reason unless Chicago drivers are given 2 weeks notice the highways are a shit show. Especially for emergency vehicle. That said yes yes you got a lot more

I've heard horror stories about what happens in relatively warm areas (NC, Austin TX) when they get snow, but I'm a little surprised about Chicago. That said, I did live there briefly and driving on the Dan Ryan was a white-knuckle experience even in the summer.

Meanwhile in MN I have no snow but all of the cold. If we actually had snow it would likely be really f'in cold.

Hello from Ontario, its hard to tell how deep it is, but look at the tennis court, it's up to the cross bar.

Oh yeah, the tennis court is an ice hockey rink in the winter.

Yeah...the weather plus the roads reacting to the weather took out my driver's side front strut...I am so done with this. I actually haven't been home for more than 15 minutes this past month (staying at my girlfriend's) because the parking and snow removal in Medford is so bad.

In Boston, we've received about 102" of snow in the last 30 days. My picture is actually from the first storm, we've gotten an additional 80 inches since then.

Yeah I don't get it either. You would think Chicagoans would know how to drive in it but year after year it's like everyone forgets how to drive with snow on the ground. I know demuro had the article about everyone sucks at driving not just your city but chicagoans SHOULD know how given the amount of snow we get but every year it's the same shitty driving song and dance

I dunno, yesterday and today didn't seem so bad. Actually, this winter has been pretty good, except for the first snow when every driver seemed to say "WHAT'S ALL THIS WHITE STUFF?! BETTER SLOW DOWN!" but that's normal.

Last year, however, SUCKED. People didn't remember how to drive until June.
